Ivory Towers goes up by 65%!
As W&I grew, our once apparently limitless warehouse space became challenged! In 2015, we took the decision to commission designs to expand the facility we own, finally selecting a plan that extended the existing warehouse by 65%. This involved moving huge mains cables that supplied the rest of our industrial estate and building a major retaining wall to free up land previously considered too difficult to build on. A year later, in March 2016, we moved in to the new space with a “Channel Tunnel moment”, cutting through the wall between the warehouses.
